These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of The Butcher Pro and related pages at butcherbeat.com (the “Service”), operated by Butcher Beat (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. The Service
The Butcher Pro is a browser-based audio sampler and production tool. Features may change over time. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
2. Accounts & Google Sign-In
You may use much of the Service without an account. Optional sign-in (including Google Sign-In) is offered for features such as displaying your profile and saving projects to Google Drive when you choose. You are responsible for activity under your account on your device and for keeping your device secure.
3. Your content
You retain rights to samples, projects, and other content you create or upload. You represent that you have the rights needed to use that content in the Service and that your use does not violate law or third-party rights.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to distribute malware
- Attempt to disrupt, scrape, or reverse engineer the Service except where law permits
- Misuse Google or other third-party APIs connected through the Service
5. Google Drive
If you use Google Drive integration, your use is also subject to Google’s terms and policies. We access only project files you create or select through the app, as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Butcher Beat and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, projects, or profits arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim (or USD $100 if you paid nothing).
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the Service or your access if you violate these Terms or if required for security or legal reasons.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
